Being a mom was never easy. Some people think that simple housewives live an easy life but it definitely isn't true. Ensuring the welfare of the whole family was never a simple responsibility. Come to think of it, what would happen to an entire household without a woman?

I have known a lot of great women out there who are full-time moms. Most of them are working moms who has steady day jobs. Imagine how hard it is to work all day, cook for the whole family at home, wash the dishes, make sure that the kids are doing well at school, clean the house, do the laundry, maintain a good relationship with her husband, and a whole lot more. So much for multitasking, right? Some might have helpers at home but still, being a mom wouldn't be easy. It just means that balancing all those tasks have become harder. If you are having a hard time digesting what it seems like to be a mom, now imagine how a single mom's life would look like.

For those who haven't experienced it, this text might seem exaggerated but believe me, it is not. Go ahead and ask your mom, your wife, or any mom you know. Mind you, there is no crash course to motherhood. From conceiving a child, to giving birth, up to raising a child to become an educated and well-rounded person, experience would be the best tool for learning. Not to mention having a good relationship with one's partner and staying hot and beautiful most of the time.

I am not an expert when it comes to motherhood since it haven't been long since I became a mom. I know I have a whole lot more to learn along the way. By reading parenting magazines, I am trying to educate myself with things that can equip me when it comes to motherhood. Smart Parenting magazine is my favorite. For new or expecting moms, and even long-time moms, I suggest for you to read it too. You'll learn a lot, I tell you.

I also believe in the saying: "You are never too old to ask your mom how to do things". I admit that I often ask my mom some stuff especially when it comes to motherhood. Still, every mom has her own way of doing things. What works for you might not work for other moms. Motherhood is really a learning process. It is not easy, very stressful in fact but very rewarding once you have learned to appreciate it.
